    Business Development Associate

    Job Description

    The Business Development Associate will broaden Standing Cloud’s market position and opportunities by locating, developing, and pursuing new targeted channel partner and customer relationships with cloud providers, ISVs, and resellers.

    Key Responsibilities:

    You will be responsible for the following key activities:

    • Perform extensive market segment research to identify and qualify prospective customers/partners.
    • Contact prospective customers/partners.
    • Deliver online demonstrations and webinars.
    • Identify and investigate growth opportunities for the company in the cloud and ISV markets.
    • Research and track the IaaS cloud market to keep up with industry trends and new products, including reading relevant publications, attending online webinars, and occasional conference attendance.
    • Strengthen current cloud partnerships to understand application layer and reseller strategies.

    Rotational Internship

    Job Description

    Standing Cloud has developed a rotational program that will allow an intern to have hands-on experience in the company’s core functional areas. In addition to each functional segment, the Standing Cloud intern will spend ~2-3 hours per week with Dave Jilk, CEO of Standing Cloud. This time may be spent on mentorship or learning about entrepreneurial activities such as fundraising, team selection, ideation, etc.
