Tier1 Reserach - May 8, 2012: Analysts Jason Verge and Daniel Beazer of Tier1 Research/451 Group, took an in-depth look at Standing Cloud's recently launched Application Marketplace for IaaS providers. OSTATIC - May 2, 2012: Amazon Web Services (AWS) recently announced that it was diving into the software rental business in the cloud. Now, Standing Cloud, which specializes the deployment and management of cloud applications, has launched the Standing Cloud Marketplace, which gives cloud providers a way to instantly offer more than 100 pre-configured applications with automated deployment and lifecycle management features. Structure Research - April 23, 2012 : Standing Cloud's recent support for OpenStack is all about maintaining an agnostic approach and supporting as many cloud platforms as possible in order to extend its reach. Supporting OpenStack is a logical choice given that it powers a growing numbers of clouds, such as those from HP, Internap and Rackspace. That number will continue to grow and Standing Cloud is working with providers that are set to roll out OpenStack-based clouds.

Denver Post - Nov 10th, 2011: Boulder-based Standing Cloud, one of a growing number of Colorado startups specializing in cloud computing, has raised $3 million in new financing, bringing its total funding to $8 million.

Venture Beat - Nov 10th, 2011: Standing Cloud has added Will Herman to its board of directors...Herman said in a statement. “Cloud service providers know that they need to offer an application layer for their customers, but have no effective way to build or maintain it. Standing Cloud delivers a solution to that problem today.”

Gigaom - Nov 10th, 2011: Boulder, CO-based Standing Cloud was able to raise another $3 million, it announced on Thursday...Standing Cloud isn’t so much about automation and scalability as it is about choice...it’s very functional and probably very approachable for a large number of small businesses.

Cloud Report - Sept 27th, 2011 : Cloud infrastructure software vendor Nimbula has released an upgrade of its Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) platform...Nimbula also announced it has expanded its partner ecosystem with the addition of Atalanta Systems, Electric Cloud and Standing Cloud to its roster.
