An intranet in a box to make collaboration easy
Open Atrium is an “intranet in a box,” coming prepackaged with all the tools to allow businesses and development teams to collaborate as one large group, or in smaller, more private teams. It features a blog and a “Shoutbox,” or microblog, and users can receive email notifications for new posts. Groups can use the notebook feature to work together on documents, keep track of revisions and edits, and print final drafts. Calendars and case trackers can be shared with all users, or just with particular teams. Users can view all activity from their home dashboards.
