Our interface for deploying and managing applications on Standing Cloud just keeps getting better and better. In the latest release, code-named Krusty the Clown, we've given you some new multiple-application install options, launched updated pricing, and have tried to make our error messaging less engineering-cryptic. Here's some more detail:
- Expanded capability to install multiple applications on one server. Up until now, you could install our ten most popular LAMP applications either with themselves or with PHPMyAdmin. Now you can also install the following apps with each other too: osCommerce, Drupal, Joomla, WordPress, Mambo, Vanilla, Magento, phpBB3. We're constantly working to expand this list. If there are apps you'd like to install together, let us know!
- Pricing updates. We just released new pricing! These changes are reflected both on the pricing page on our website, as well as in the pricing box that displays as you're installing an application. Now you can host our standard applications for as little as $14.95/mo and bandwidth is free through June 2011! Start hosting today to take advantage of this great pricing.
- New error messages. Though we hope you'll never encounter errors while using our service, in the event you do, we hope our new messages will be a bit friendlier and more helpful. But should you run into a message you think can be further improved, don't hesitate to let us know. No cryptic codes and dead ends here!
We realize this list may seem a little short. Don't worry — it's not that our development team has run off to hike and bike in the nearby Rockies — we're working on some big, new features that will show themselves in the next couple of months. Keep an eye here for that news!
